Puertas Castalla, has an Environmental Management System certified according to the UNE-EN ISO 14.001: 2015 standard. With the aim of improving the communication of our environmental improvement activities, towards customers and society in general, we prepare this report that will be disseminated and updated annually.
Regarding the direct application of the Circular Economy, it is worth noting that in our company, 20% of the waste generated from wood is used as biomass for the production process, for those phases of production that need heat. This data is intended to be improved year after year.
Regarding our concern for the environment, the latest technological changes introduced in our company have led to a reduction in the consumption of solvents of 54%, a very considerable aspect to be taken into account.
In spite of these advances, we think that there is a long way to go in terms of improvement and awareness of our environment, which is why we continue working every year to improve our management.
